The wireless earbuds was introduced back in September during the iPhone 7 launch. With the new iPhone no longer spotting a headphone jack, the $159 AirPods were advertised as the perfect companion of an iPhone 7 for a true-wireless audio. Unfortunately, the product release was pushed back to an unspecified date due to “not being ready”.

Earlier today, Apple announced that the much awaited wireless earbuds is now available for sale online on Apple.com in limited quantities and will be available in stores starting next week.

Within an hour after the announcement, it was reported that the earbuds is no longer available for Christmas delivery and the next earliest delivery falls on December 29th. Still, it is a good news given that couple weeks ago it was rumored that the Airpods wouldn’t be ready in time for Christmas.

For those who still want a pair before Christmas, your best chance is to get it from Apple Stores, Apple Authorized Resellers and select carriers next week.

Apple AirPods are available in more than 100 countries including Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Netherlands, Japan, UAE, the UK and the US.
