3 days ago, Apple released Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite for free which users can find in their Mac App Store. This is a major release for the Mac platform, as it brings about numbers of improvement. OS X Yosemite being a major upgrade from Apple brings on a fresh new aesthetic as well as several new features such as Notification Center widgets, and text message forwarding, iCloud Drive, Continuity, new Spotlight and more.

OS X Yosemite was first introduced at WWDC 2014 in June and has been in the testing for many months since. Up to this date, there are 8 developer preview, 6 public beta and 3 gold master candidate released which helps ironed out more and more reported and unreported bugs.

But, if you already running OS X Yosemite Gold Master Release Candidate 3 or Public Beta 6, you will find that there are no new updates for you in the Mac App Store. This is because Apple considered both Gold Master 3 and Public Beta 6 as final build thus not offering the Mac App Store version. Although, if you’re really want it badly, you can always download the final version from Mac App Store and run the installer anyway.

For those who’re fine running Mac OS X Yosemite Public Beta 6, the next update iteration 10.10.x will get you on the same build as everyone else.

If you’re Mac running Yosemite, let me know what you think about it below.
