WhatsApp is a cross-platform mobile messaging app which allows users to exchange message without having to spent on traditional SMS. Later in 2015 they added voice calling feature.

Now, the Facebook-owned WhatsApp in their blog announced that they finally launching video calling feature in its app. The feature which has been made available in its beta channel for past few weeks now coming to over 1 billion WhatsApp users worldwide.

The new feature, which is the most requested feature by fans is now available for iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices. Windows PC and MacOS however won’t be getting this feature at launch.

To use the new feature, you can start a call like you normally would, you will given an option to place a voice call and video call. Simply select the video call option and video calling will start.

As what would you normally get from a video call, you can switch between the rear and forward facing camera or mute the call.
